2016
Founded in Hong Kong

Blue Zilla Commerce is established as a wholesale gateway between China and Europe, with a core focus on the emerging hoverboard market.

2018
Expanding product categories

Building on deep supplier relationships across China, Blue Zilla broadens its wholesale operations into adjacent consumer electronics and lifestyle categories.

2021
Shift to e-commerce

Blue Zilla moves into e-commerce, initially focusing on marketplace channels such as Amazon alongside local inventory models — building expertise in online consumer sales and product-market fit.

2026
The DTC transition begins

Blue Zilla begins its shift toward platform-owned, direct-to-consumer brands on Shopify — moving away from marketplace dependency toward full brand ownership. We are in the early stage of this transition, building a portfolio of proprietary brands designed to scale globally.
